The Meteorological Department has issued yellow alert for 21 districts of Punjab. According to the alert, there may be rain with thunder in some districts of Punjab. The department has also expressed the possibility of rain on March 2 and 3. A new Western Disturbance is becoming active in Punjab on 29th February. Due to which the weather conditions will also worsen.
Even though the minimum temperature in Punjab has increased by 0.8 degrees on Monday, the temperature of four cities including Amritsar is still below normal. Pathankot and Gurdaspur were the coldest at 5.1 degrees. The department has predicted dry weather for the next three days.
The minimum temperature in Amritsar was 6.0 degrees (2.3 degrees below normal), Ludhiana 9.1 degrees (0.9 degrees below normal), Patiala 9.0 degrees (2.1 degrees below normal), Bathinda 9.4 degrees (0.1 degrees below normal), A temperature of 8.2 degrees was recorded in Barnala and 7.0 degrees in Jalandhar.
Delhi's climate
There is an alert of light rain in Delhi today. Due to the impact of Western Disturbance, there are chances of rain and thundershowers in Delhi between March 1 and 2. According to IMD, the minimum temperature of Delhi may remain between 10 to 13 degrees Celsius this entire week. The maximum temperature is likely to be between 25 to 29 degrees Celsius.
Rain increased cold in Jharkhand
It is cloudy in many districts of Jharkhand. Along with this, light and moderate rain in many districts has once again increased the cold. There may be a storm in many districts of Jharkhand on February 27, due to which a yellow alert has also been issued. However, after this the minimum temperature of the state may increase by two to three degrees.
Snowfall alert with rain in Himachal
Light snowfall has occurred at some places in Himachal Pradesh. Due to which the Meteorological Department has predicted rain at some places in the central hills on 27th and 29th February and at many other places on 1st March. The weather office has also issued a yellow alert for this, warning of storms and lightning at different places on February 27, 29 and March 1 and 2.
Hail will fall in many areas
There is a possibility of rain, hailstorm and lightning in Central India on February 27. There may be hailstorm along with rain at isolated places in East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. There is a possibility of damage to farmers' crops due to hailstorm.
