A tank met with an accident while crossing the river in Daulat Beg Oldi area of Ladakh. Five soldiers including a JCO were martyred in this accident. It is being told that the tank that crashed is T-72. According to the information, the water level suddenly increased when the tank was crossing the river. The accident took place near Mandir Mor, 148 km away from Leh, during an exercise at around 1 am in the night. The names of the soldiers who died in the accident are RIS MR K Reddy, DFR Bhupendra Negi, LD Akdum Tayabam, Havildar A Khan (6255 FD Workshop), CFN Nagaraj P (LRW).
