Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Punjab today i.e. on 23rd May. He will address a rally in support of BJP candidate from Patiala, Preneet Kaur. The timing of PM Modi's rally is from 3 pm to 5 pm. Along with this, concrete arrangements have also been made for the security of the Prime Minister.
7 feet high and 60×28 feet wide stage was prepared
A 7 feet high and 60×28 feet wide and long stage has been prepared for the Prime Minister at the Polo Ground in Patiala. Union Minister Hardeep Puri had arrived on Tuesday to prepare for the rally. After this, BJP State President Sunil Jakhar reached the rally venue on Wednesday.
Weather proof tent installed in polo ground
Weather proof tent has been installed in the polo ground. The responsibility of setting up this stand has been specifically given to a company from Amritsar. Besides, the work of chairs and stage etc. has also been completed. Patiala Police has also strengthened the security arrangements by installing barricades in the Polo Ground and its surrounding areas.
In Patiala, SP and other police officers from other districts have been deployed in the field, who will keep an eye on the security arrangements round the clock.
Traffic diverted due to PM Modi's rally in Jalandhar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold an election rally in Jalandhar on May 24. Keeping this rally in mind, Jalandhar Police has diverted the traffic. Due to which, route plan has been issued for vehicles going from Amritsar to Ludhiana, from Ludhiana to Amritsar and from Ludhiana to Himachal Pradesh and Pathankot.
Rally will be held at PAP ground in Jalandhar
Let us tell you that PM Modi's rally has been organised at PAP Ground in Jalandhar, keeping in mind the arrival of VVIPs, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has diverted the routes of heavy and commercial vehicles. Due to security reasons, this diversion will remain from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Diversion: Subhanpur → Kapurthala → Kala Sanghiyan → Noor Mahal → Phillaur
2. Ludhiana to Amritsar
Diversion: Phagwara → Mehtiana → Hoshiarpur → Tanda → Begowal → Nadala → Subhanpur
3. Ludhiana to Himachal Pradesh/Pathankot
Diversion: Phagwara → Mehtiana → Hoshiarpur → Tanda
