Under the Manthan Project being run by Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan for the education of poor children, Shrimad Bhagwat Katha was organized at Sai Das School Ground in Jalandhar. This Shrimad Bhagwat Katha will run from 17th November to 23rd November. The Katha will be done by world famous Bhagwatcharya Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti.
In this connection, a huge Kalash Yatra was taken out today. This Kalash Yatra starts from the Katha Sthal and passes through different parts of the city and ends back at the Katha Sthal.
MLA Raman Arora started the yatra by breaking a coconut
Swami Sajjananand said that innumerable fortunate women in yellow clothes visit the city with urns on their heads to pray for the welfare of the world. The Kalash Yatra was started by Jalandhar Cantt CEO Ompal Singh and Brigadier Sunil Kumar's family and during this, Central constituency MLA Raman Arora also arrived on the special occasion and started the yatra by breaking a coconut.
A very beautiful palanquin of Lord Shri Krishna was built for the Kalash Yatra and kirtan was performed by the Gop Mandali during the yatra. In the Kalash Yatra, through the beautiful tableau of Veda Paathis, the message was given that there should be verses of the Vedas in every home.
Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh along with 33 Rajdev are seated in the Kalash
To welcome the Kalash Yatra, different religious and social organizations and the citizens of the city showered flowers and organized langars at various places. Swami Sajanand said that the three Gods Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh along with 33 Rajdev are seated in the Kalash itself.
A beautiful court of Shri Krishna and Gau Mata was also decorated

Swami Sajanand said that a beautiful pandal was decorated for the congregation for the Shrimat Bhagwat Katha, a beautiful court of Lord Krishna and Gau Mata was also decorated in the pandal.
