Platform number 6 and 7 of Ludhiana railway station will remain closed for about 47 days. Construction work is going on at Ludhiana railway station. Due to which 14 trains have been canceled from today 15 November to 31 December. There will be no traffic of any kind on these two platforms. Entry of passengers will be prohibited. However, 14 trains will be restarted after the completion of the work on 31 December.
Construction work being done on platform number 6 and 7
Giving information in this regard, Senior DCM of Ferozepur Division, Paramdeep Singh Saini said that earlier when the work was going on on platform number 1, it lasted for about 3 to 4 months. During this time platform number one was kept completely closed. Construction work is at its peak at the railway station. Due to this, the officials have now decided to work on platform number 6 and 7.
These trains were cancelled
Regarding the construction work, the railways said that train numbers 04997/98 Ludhiana-Firozpur, 14614/13 Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 14629/30 Chandigarh-Firozpur, 04743/44 Hisar-Ludhiana, 04509/10 Jakhal-Ludhiana, 04509/10 Jakhal-Ludhiana/04547, 04745 Churu-Ludhiana and 04746 Ludhiana-Hisar have been cancelled for 47 days. According to officials, other trains can also be cancelled if needed.
