233 schools of Punjab are going to join PM Shri School Yojana. Actually, the central government has started this initiative under the Pradhan Mantri School for Rising India to modernize the schools and provide better education facilities to the students. For this, funds have also been released to the schools and the education department has also issued a notification to the schools.
These facilities will be available in schools
With the PM Shri School Yojana, smart class rooms, science labs, libraries, e-learning, digital labs, internet connectivity will be made available to the students in schools. So that students can get education in a modern way.
Special attention will be given not only to the students but also to the teachers. So that they can teach the students with new technology. Along with this, initiatives like solar panels, rainwater harvesting will be increased in schools so that the environment can also be made friendly.
14,500 schools will be developed
In this initiative of the Prime Minister, 14,500 schools across the country will be upgraded. Out of which 233 are schools of Punjab. For this, a fund of Rs 500 crore has also been released to Punjab. Punjab schools will be upgraded under this fund.
