In the CCTV footage, the robbers are seen escaping on a bike. In a complaint to the police, Ankur, a resident of Adarsh Colony, said that on November 15, he was going to Pratap Nagar Chowk with his father to buy rice with Rs 2.5 lakh on the instructions of broker Promad. During this, he stopped his car before climbing the Pratap Chowk bridge.
The incident was carried out at knife point
When he got out of the car with the envelope containing the money, two youths came on foot from the Grand Palki Hotel side and snatched the envelope containing the money from him at knife point. Pramod was standing at some distance with his bike started and the miscreants fled away riding on his bike.
