What is Vantara Project?
Anant Ambani told about Vantara through a media conference on 26 February. 3000 acres in the green belt of Reliance Refinery Complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat was converted into this project.
It will be a kind of open zoo. In which the animals will be kept in the open and they will also be provided health facilities. According to Anant Ambani, the main objective of Vantara is to protect wild animals.
Know about these special facilities provided to animals
Vantara is one of the largest animal welfare projects in the world in which animals will be provided the best health facilities.
Anant Ambani said that till now 200 injured and abandoned elephants have been brought to this project. Special shelters and reservoirs have also been built at various places for elephants.
Not only this, there is also a provision for a crane to lift the elephants. More than 500 trained employees have been appointed to take care of these elephants. This includes rehabilitation of not only animals but also birds and reptiles.
At the same time, animals will also be saved from accidents and poachers. Along with this, research centres and educational institutes will also be included in this project. Here, doctors will be ready 24 hours for the safety and treatment of animals.
