There will be a power cut in Kapurthala, Punjab, due to which people living in its surrounding areas may have to face a lot of problems. Engr. Rajesh Kumar, Additional Supervising Engineer, Urban Division, Kapurthala, said that the power supply will remain closed on Friday, February 28, Tuesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 6 to carry out necessary construction work of power supply tower line to both 66 KV grid substation Talwandi Madho and 66 KV substation Sidhwan.
Due to this, all external 11 KV lines feeders running from 66 KV Talwandi Madho and 66 KV Sidhwan will remain closed. This will affect the supply to the valuable consumers under these power houses.
This supply will remain closed from 9 am to 5 pm. Farmers engaged in agriculture will be supplied under alternative arrangements from these power houses.
