Now people will be able to get this work done from the Deputy Commissioner's Office. At the same time, now if a person dies due to illness, then the doctor will have to write the cause of his death in the death certificate.

This information was given by Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema after the cabinet meeting. He also told that a fine of five thousand to five lakh will be imposed on those who pollute water. Cow cess on liquor has been increased from one to one and a half rupees per liter.
The quota of country liquor has been increased by three percent. Apart from this, new excise police stations will be set up to stop liquor smuggling. Permission was given to form a committee for this. This committee will tell where these police stations will be opened.
