North India has got a lot of relief from the cold due to bright sunshine for the last two days. But the weather is going to change once again. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the cold will increase once again. There is a possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir from Wednesday, January 22.
The weather will change in Punjab from today. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, there may be rain at some places in the state for two days. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in 17 districts today. The average maximum temperature of the state has dropped by 1.5 degrees in the last 24 hours. However, it is 2.7 degrees more than the normal temperature. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 23.3 degrees in Pathankot.

However, the Meteorological Department has not issued a fog warning. The districts where rain is likely include Bathinda, Mansa, Barnala, Sangrur, Patiala, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ludhiana, Rupnagar, Nawanshahr, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Pathankot.
Nights are still cold in Punjab. Along with this, the minimum temperature is also falling continuously. The average minimum temperature has dropped by 1.5 degrees compared to the previous day. The lowest temperature was recorded at 6.2 degrees in Abohar.
