More than 16.25 lakh people are affected by floods in 29 districts of Assam.
17 animals drowned in the national park
Kaziranga National Park of Assam has been submerged in floods. District Forest Officer of the park, Arun Vignesh, said that 17 animals, including a baby rhinoceros and a hog deer, have died due to drowning in water. 72 have been rescued.
Chance of rain in Himachal till July 9
Five districts of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, Mandi, Solan, Bilaspur and Una, have received good rainfall during the last 48 hours. 5 more bridges collapsed in Bihar
Five bridges collapsed in a day on Wednesday due to rain in Siwan and Saran districts of Bihar. Of these, three were built on the Gandaki River and two on the Dhamhi River. There have been 10 such incidents of bridge collapse in the state during the last 15 days.
