Apart from this, clouds may also remain in Punjab today. Due to dense fog, most of the flights departing from Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport in Amritsar were delayed from their scheduled time. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for 3 days in Punjab from Saturday. Under this, light to moderate rain will occur in many districts, due to which the temperature can drop by up to four degrees.
Amritsar airport closed due to fog
All flights coming from Delhi, Pune and Mumbai to Amritsar airport have been canceled since morning. The airport was closed due to zero visibility in Amritsar. Flight operations have stopped here. Due to which many passengers are stuck at the airport. At the same time, all trains running on the Amritsar Delhi route have also been affected. Most trains are running late by 2 to 3 hours.
Visibility was also recorded at 50 meters at Delhi airport on Friday morning. This affected SpiceJet, Indigo and Air India flights.
