The temporary employees said that they have not received salary for 2 months. In anger, both the gates of the roadways were closed. He said that now the third month has started.
Chakka jam over salary
Giving information about the matter, the worker said that out of 18 depots, the workers of some depots have received salary, but the workers of other depots have not received salary. Due to which the workers have parked buses in front of both the gates and staged a sit-in. The workers say that the sit-in will continue until the next order comes from the higher authorities.
The bus stand will be closed for two hours and the chakka jam will continue
Giving information, General Secretary Ranjit Singh said that the salary of the workers has not been given for the last 2 months and now the third month has started. In such a situation, it has become difficult to run the household. The General Secretary said that today is 20th February, the salary has not been deposited yet. Due to which the traffic is being blocked for 2 hours today (from 3 pm to 5 pm).
Dharna will be held again tomorrow
He said that all the stations and depots of Punjab have been closed. If the salary is not deposited in the accounts of the workers today, then a dharna will be held again tomorrow. Earlier, a dharna was announced by them on 19th February, which was postponed yesterday.
