Om Prakash Chautala was born on January 1, 1935 in Chautala village in Sirsa, Haryana. He has been the CM of Haryana five times and has also been an MLA 7 times. On December 2, 1989, Chautala assumed the post of Chief Minister for the first time and remained in this post till 22 May 1990. On July 12, 1990, Chautala took oath as Chief Minister for the second time. On 22 April 1991, Chautala took over as CM for the third time, but after just two weeks the Central Government imposed President's rule in the state.
