After Delhi, UP, Haryana, now children up to class 5 have been given leave in Rajasthan. For the first time in the history of Rajasthan, the government has had to take a decision to close schools due to pollution. Due to the pollution level reaching dangerous levels in Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan, the district administration has declared a holiday in schools from 20 to 23 November.
The AQI in Delhi has reached 500. The distance from Delhi to Khairthal Tijara is just 125 kilometers. Due to this, a decision has been taken to close the schools. At the same time, areas like Gurugram in Haryana and Ghaziabad, Noida in Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to Delhi, have also become gas chambers. Schools have already been closed in these districts falling under NCR.
