Orange alert issued regarding fog

According to the Meteorological Center, today an orange alert has been issued regarding dense fog in 11 districts of Punjab, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur, Patiala and Malerkotla

While a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog in SAS Nagar, Rupnagar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Muktsar, Faridkot, Fazilka, Ferozepur, Nawanshahr, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur and Pathankot. Apart from this, a yellow alert has also been issued for dense fog in Chandigarh. Along with this, Amritsar was the coldest city in Punjab in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature in Amritsar was recorded at 4.3 degrees.
2 people died due to cold
The level of cold is going to increase even more in Haryana. Due to snowfall in the mountains, the temperature in the plains is continuously falling. Due to which a cold wave yellow alert has been issued in 10 districts of the state. These include Hisar, Rohtak, Charkhi-Dadri, Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram, Faridabad, Mewat and Palwal. There will be continuous rain in the state for 2 days. There will be rain in the plains and snowfall in the hilly states. Also, in Haryana, 2 people have died due to cold.
