Along with severe cold, strong winds are also blowing in Punjab. After many days, the sun came out in Punjab yesterday, but there was no respite from the cold due to icy winds. The day started with dense fog. Due to which visibility in cities remained between 50 to 100 meters. The Meteorological Department believes that these conditions will last till January 15. There will be more fog in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ludhiana, Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala.
Weather condition in the districts of Punjab
With this, a drop of 0.8 degrees was recorded in the night temperature in Punjab, although it is now close to normal. The lowest temperature recorded in Faridkot was 3.6 degrees. The minimum temperature was 4.2 degrees in Bathinda, 4.5 degrees in Gurdaspur, 5.4 degrees in SBS Nagar, 5.6 degrees in Amritsar and 6.3 degrees in Ludhiana.

There is a possibility of more cold in Punjab in the coming days. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of relief from cold till January 15. There is a possibility of dense fog during this period.

Road, rail and air traffic was affected due to fog. Amrapali Express running from Amritsar was delayed by four hours, while Amritsar-Jaynagar clone special train has been canceled for Friday.

According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on January 12, the minimum temperature in New Delhi can be recorded at 06 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 18 degrees. Dense fog will also be seen today. According to the department, fog will be seen in the country's capital New Delhi for the next few days.
Haryana weather condition
Today the day started with dense fog in most of the cities of Haryana. Due to which frost warning has been issued in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Karnal. Dense fog was seen in Bahadurgarh, Rewari, Bhiwani, Hisar and Ambala on Friday morning.
