Khorasan Diary News Portal has given this information. According to the report, an armed group attacked the Frontier Corps camp in Mangochar area of Kalat district of Balochistan. Apart from this, extremists captured the Quetta-Karachi highway and targeted a Pakistani army vehicle there.
So far 17 people have died
Khorasan Diary quoted sources as saying that so far 17 people have been killed and 3 injured since the attack that began last night in Kalat. It said that most of the people were killed in an attack on a vehicle on the highway. This vehicle is said to belong to the Pakistani army. Baloch separatists carried out attacks at different places and firing continued throughout the night.
Kalat Assistant Commissioner's residence also attacked
The report quoted independent sources as saying that at least two extremists were killed in the firing with security forces. However, this cannot be confirmed yet. Local officials have said that the firing has now stopped. Baloch International reported that along with firing on buses in Khaliq Abad, the residence of the Assistant Commissioner in Kalat was also attacked.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani army has said that it has killed 10 extremists in five different operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistani army is once again facing extremist attacks. With the return of the Taliban in Afghanistan, extremists have intensified attacks against the Pakistani army in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas.
