Seven devotees have died in a horrific accident this morning in Madhya Pradesh. While 6 have been seriously injured and are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Due to the condition of 3 being more serious, they have been referred to Gwalior. Children and women are also said to be among the dead.
Devotees were going to Bageshwar Dham
According to the police, the auto full of devotees was going to Bageshwar Dham from UP. During this time, the auto collided with a parked truck on Jhansi-Khujraho National Highway in Chhatarpur. In which 7 died and 6 were injured.
The deceased are residents of UP
Police further said that the people travelling in the auto are said to be from Farrukhabad and Lucknow in UP. Who had come here by train and after that were going to Bageshwar Dham. The auto driver was taking the devotees from the railway station to Bageshwar Dham.
More people were sitting in the auto than its capacity
Police further said that 5 people died on the spot in the accident. While 2 died in the hospital during treatment. More people were sitting in the auto than its capacity. The auto driver has also died in the accident.
