It rained at many places in Delhi and its surrounding areas in the early hours of Friday, June 28. It rained so much that many areas including Delhi-Noida were completely submerged in water. Along with this, the roof of Terminal-1 of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport also collapsed. Due to which about 28 flights have been cancelled.
One dead as roof of Terminal 1 collapses
Many people sitting in the car were also buried after the roof of the terminal of Indira Gandhi International Airport collapsed. He was saved with great difficulty. One person died in this accident and several people were seriously injured and were taken to the hospital for treatment. Teams of Delhi Police, Fire Service, CISF and NDRF are present at the spot. Legal action is being taken.
Due to the incident, all flights departing from Terminal 1 have been cancelled and check-in counters closed due to security reasons. According to the latest update, 16 departing flights and 12 arriving flights after 12 midnight have been cancelled.

Delhi drenched in first rain
Delhi has turned into water in the first rain itself. Many areas are filled with water. It seems like a flood like situation. The weather department says that there is a possibility of rain throughout the day today. IMD has issued a yellow alert for two days. Delhi-NCR has been raining heavily since morning.
