Three Indian-American students died while two others were injured after a speeding car overturned in America. Two of those killed were women and all of them were around 18 years of age. The crash occurred on May 14 on Westside Parkway just north of Maxwell Road in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Identification of the dead
The deceased students were identified as Aryan Joshi, a senior at Alpharetta High School, Shriya Avasarala, a first-year student at the University of Georgia, and Anvi Sharma. Among the injured students are Honda Accord driver Rithvak Sompalli, a Georgia State University student, and Alpharetta High School senior Mohammad Liakath.
Car speed became the cause of the accident
According to the police, the driver lost control of the car, due to which the car went out of control and hit a tree. However, the police is currently investigating the reason behind the accident.
