Attacks on police stations in Punjab are not decreasing. Last night a grenade was thrown at a police station in Banga Wadala village. This is the second grenade attack in Kalanaur, Gurdaspur in the last 48 hours. Before this, 8 grenades have been thrown in 28 days. Due to these incidents, serious questions have been raised on security and law and order.
Panic spread among people
According to the information received, this blast took place in Banga Wadala village at night. People also came out of their houses in fear. During this time they came to know that a grenade has been thrown at the police station. Then throughout the night, sirens were also sounded from police vehicles here. A day before this, Khalistan Zindabad Force had attacked Kalanaur police.
Forensic team is investigating
Babbar Khalsa International, a pro-Khalistan organization, has taken the responsibility of the grenade attack. At the same time, after this blast at night, the forensic team is also investigating in the police station. Apart from this, senior officers are also taking stock of the situation.
Attacks have happened before too
Let us tell you that this is not the first attack. Before this, 28 attacks have happened in Punjab in the past days. Out of which 7 blasts were carried out by terrorists sitting abroad. One bomb was also recovered from Ajnala police station.
Khalistani organizations took responsibility
Khalistani organizations have taken responsibility for this attack. Khalistan Zindabad Force and Babbar Khalsa International have said that these attacks were carried out. Police is trying its best to prevent such attacks but repeated attacks are a cause of concern. Only Punjab is being targeted in all the attacks. Punjab Police has also detained many people in this case in the past days but even after this, it is becoming difficult to control the attacks.
