A young man died of drug overdose in Ludhiana. The body of the youth was found lying in the gymnasium street of Issa Nagri. The family members say that someone has killed their son by intoxicating him. His son was earlier a drug addict, but had given up the drug for a few days.
Deceased identified
The deceased has been identified as Deepak Dhaliwal, resident of Khudd Mohalla. Police have started investigation in the matter and have kept the body in the civil hospital for post-mortem.
Deceased's brother Karan told that a young man living in the locality told him that his brother Deepak had fallen in the street near the gym. After which he immediately reached there and took his brother to the hospital. But the doctors declared him dead after investigation. Also, Karan told that a drug smuggler lives in the street where brother was found fallen.
Mobile and cash missing from pocket
His brother has been called to that place during the night. Mobile and money are also missing from his pocket. The police have recorded the statements of the family members and started investigation.
