An overloaded truck and a car collided in Garhshankar, Hoshiarpur. One person travelling in the car died in this collision, while two others were injured. The collision was so severe that the car was blown to pieces.
The deceased was identified as Niranjan Singh son of Kewal Singh Kokowal. During the accident, people took out the people travelling in the car with great difficulty. The police reached the spot and took the injured to the Civil Hospital Garhshankar and the body to the mortuary for post-mortem.
