Tata Motors launched electric SUV Tata Punch today i.e. on 17th January at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh. The company officially unveiled the car on January 5. Tata claims that it will run 400 KM on full charge. Range will depend on the battery pack. It is a micro SUV.
This is India's mini electric SUV. Bookings for Tata Punch EV have already started. You can book it by paying token money of Rs 21 thousand. Tata Punch EV will compete with the Citroen eC3. It is positioned between the Nexon EV and Tiago EV.
Will be launched with Acti.ev platform
It will be the first car to be launched with the brand new Acti.ev platform. This SUV will fill the gap between Tigor EV and Nexon EV. Tata claims that this car will run 300 to 400 kilometers on full charge. This SUV has been introduced in two ranges, standard and long range. A 25kWh battery pack can come in the standard range. AndAt the same time, 35kWh battery pack is expected to come in long range. The standard Punch EV is available in 5 trims – Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered and Empowered Plus. At the same time, three trims are available in Long Range – Adventure, Empowered and Empowered Plus.
What will the design be like
Talking about the design of Punch EV, its front has a full-width LED light bar and a split headlamp setup. The main headlamp is similar to the Nexon EV. The charging socket is given in the front of this SUV only. At the same time, the design of the bumper is completely new. Y-shaped brake light setup is available in the rear. Apart from this, there is a roof spoiler and dual-tone bumper design. Customers will get 16-inch alloy wheels in this car. A trunk is also provided under the bonnet in this SUV.

The company has started booking Tata Punch EV. Customers can book this SUV with token money of Rs 21,000.
