A case of fraud of Rs 2 crore has come to light against former MLA Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu. In this regard, she has lodged a police complaint against one of her personal assistants and others. Which is being investigated by the Economic Offenses (EO) wing.
Fraud in the name of buying SCO
Navjot Kaur Sidhu has alleged that NRI Angad Pal Singh, who lives in America, along with his maternal uncle Mangal Singh and Sukhwinder Singh cheated her. Apart from this, her former personal assistant Gaurav and his associate Jagjit Singh also played an important role in this fraud. Angad Pal Singh had proposed to sell SCO number 10 located in Ranjit Avenue. For this, an agreement was reached between the two parties. On behalf of Dr. Sidhu, his representative Sushil Rawat and on behalf of Angad Pal Singh, Vishal Kaur also signed this agreement.
According to Navjot Kaur Sidhu, Angadpal repeatedly told her that her registration will be done soon. But when Dr. Sidhu put pressure for document registration, the accused started making excuses. Sidhu alleges that Rs 1.5 crore was transferred to Angadpal's account in this regard. He also gave cheques for payment several times, which were cashed by his personal assistant Gaurav and the amount was handed over to Angad's agent. Police officers are not ready to say anything in this matter right now, they say that the entire matter is being investigated.
