Shikhar Dhawan has announced his retirement from all three formats of international cricket. He gave this information by posting a video on social media platform and said goodbye to domestic and international cricket. 37 year old Shikhar made his debut for India for the first time in 2010. In his 13-year career, he has represented India in 34 Tests, 167 ODIs and 68 T20 matches. He played his last ODI against Bangladesh in 2022, since then he did not get a place in Team India.

Shikhar made his T-20 debut against Sri Lanka in 2011. After which he got a place in the Test team in 2013. Dhawan scored 2315 runs in 34 tests at an average of 40.61. Scored 7436 runs in 167 ODI matches at an average of 44.11. At the same time, in 68 T-20 matches, he has scored 1759 runs at an average of 27.92. Shikhar has been associated with IPL for the first season. While announcing his retirement, he did not say anything on playing or not playing IPL, which suggests that he can continue playing IPL.
