Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Deputy Prime Minister of the country Lal Krishna Advani was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi late on Wednesday night. According to the information, the former Prime Minister has been admitted to the hospital due to age related problems.
He is undergoing treatment in the Geriatric Department of AIIMS. AIIMS said in its issued statement that the condition of Lal Krishna Advani is stable and he has been kept under observation.

Let us tell you that Advani, born in a Hindu Sindhi family on November 8, 1927 in Karachi, Pakistan, was awarded the Bharat Ratna, the country's highest civilian award, by the Government of India this year. In 2015, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour.
He was the Home Minister in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) between 1998 and 2004. Lal Krishna Advani held the post of the seventh Deputy Prime Minister of India in the government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee between 2002 and 2004.
