Today is the second day of the farmers' Delhi march. On Tuesday, police released tear gas to stop the farmers at Shambhu border in Haryana. A similar situation was seen on the Jind border also. Today again farmers are ready to march to Delhi. Kisan Morcha Coordinator Sarwan Singh Pandher said that he will go to Delhi under any circumstances.
Haryana Police on alert
Haryana government has also deployed BSF to stop the farmers. Haryana is on alert regarding the movement. There was a conflict between the police and farmers throughout the day on Tuesday.
Internet is closed in 7 districts
To prevent rumors related to the movement from spreading, internet has been banned in seven districts. Mobile internet has been closed in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Dabwali.
Earlier on Tuesday, farmers left Punjab for Haryana at 10 o'clock. At around 12 noon, the farmers reached Shambhu, Khanauri and Dabwali borders of Punjab-Haryana together. Most of the farmers reached Shambhu border. As soon as the farmers reached here, Haryana Police started firing tear gas shells.
At the same time, farmers removed the cement slabs kept in the middle of the road with tractors. After which Haryana Police also fired rubber bullets. During this time, 5 policemen including the DSP of Ambala Police and many farmers were also injured.
