Saudi Arabia has implemented single entry visa for travelers from 14 countries. This rule will be considered effective from February 1, 2025. The purpose of this decision is to stop Hajj pilgrims. The visa will be valid for 30 days. It will not have any effect on Hajj, Umrah, diplomatic and residential visas. Saudi Arabia has changed visa rules for 14 countries.
Single entry visa is also applicable for Pakistan. Steps have been taken keeping in mind the Hajj pilgrimage. The Saudi Arabian government has made significant changes in its visa rules. The Saudi government has announced that travelers from 14 countries, including India, will now get only single entry visa.
Multiple visas of these 14 countries stopped
The Saudi government has banned visas for travelers from Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen.
Decision taken due to Haj pilgrimage
Officials say that this decision will help in controlling the Haj pilgrimage in a better way. Also, every year Saudi Arabia fixes a certain number of Haj pilgrims, but many people used to violate this rule by coming on long term visit visa. Due to this, the crowd increased a lot during Haj and the administration had to face difficulties.
