The restriction of 52 passengers has been removed by the Punjab Roadways Transport Corporation Union. Transport Department officials have assured the Panbus-PRTC Contract Employees Union of holding a meeting with the Chief Minister on February 8, due to which the union has withdrawn the restriction imposed and the rule made regarding seating of 52 passengers.
Union meeting will be held with CM
The union had banned buses carrying more than 52 passengers in protest against the hit-and-run law enacted by the Center and anti-employee policies of the state government. Due to this, passengers were facing a lot of problems. However, now in the meeting, the union officials were assured by the officials that on February 8, they will have a meeting with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann regarding their demands. On this assurance, the union has withdrawn the decision of imposing restriction on seating of 52 passengers.
