Ravneet Singh Bittu took charge as Minister of State for Railways, Food Processing in Delhi today. On this occasion, he also met the employees of the department. More and more Punjabis will be given opportunities in Railways
He said that this responsibility is very big in the Railway Ministry. Recruitment in Railways is also high and more and more Punjabis will be given opportunities. We will try to provide good facilities and food to many people traveling to and from different districts through railways in the morning. Care will be taken to ensure smooth transportation of goods through trains.
Focus on improving Kapurthala coach factory
He also thanked Cabinet Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and said that we will work better with her. In the coming days, special focus will be on how we can improve the Kapurthala Rail Coach Factory, where the best coaches, Vande Bharat coaches are made.
Work will be done that benefits farmers
Bittu further said that we want farmers to sell their crops daily. Potato chips and sauces are expensive in food processing, we will try to add these items to it. How big are the tomato and potato industries, how to transport these goods quickly. In food processing, work will be done to directly benefit the farmers through marketing.
Trains will start from Amritsar
He said that any train will start from Amritsar. I have been made a minister in Punjab and my role is important, I have two departments, I will fulfill this responsibility with full dedication. Everyone will work together, when you yourself move in the right direction then you will do the right work and people will also meet you.
Will work shoulder to shoulder with Railway Minister
Bittu said that work will be done to improve railway services by working shoulder to shoulder with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Railway service is a work related to people at the grassroots level. Railways will be taken on the path of development by giving equal respect to everyone from rank-4 employees to officers.
