In view of the festive season, Indian Railways is going to operate new trains for the convenience of the passengers. For this, the Railways has flagged off the operation of 6000 special trains. Which will be run from 30 September to 31 December 2024. Along with this, there is talk of increasing general coaches in some trains.
More than 1 crore passengers will have ease in going home

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also spoke to the media and said that many rail routes, especially those going to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, are heavily crowded during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath festivals.
Vaishnav said that a total of 5975 special trains have been notified so far for this year's festive season, which was 4429 last year. He said, this will help more than one crore passengers to reach home during the Puja rush.
Weekly special trains will run on this route
Western Railway has decided to run weekly special trains between Ahmedabad-Danapur-Ahmedabad and Sabarmati-Sitamarhi-Ahmedabad at special fares. Train number 09457/09458 Ahmedabad-Danapur-Ahmedabad Special (total 16 trips), train number 09457 Ahmedabad-Danapur Special will start from Ahmedabad every Sunday from 06 October to 24 November at 08.25 and will reach Danapur at 15.00 the next day. Similarly, train number 09458 Danapur-Ahmedabad Special will leave from Danapur at 18.10 every Monday from 07 October to 25 November and will reach Ahmedabad at 03.00 on the third day.
