Punjab government is going to implement a new policy for playway schools. This information has been given by Dr. Baljit Kaur. In which guidelines have been set from the boundary walls of playway schools to teachers. Schools will be monitored by the department. There will be no screening test of the child or parent interview etc. for admission in schools and junk food like Maggi, pasta will be completely banned in schools. Along with this, neither junk food will be brought from home in tiffin nor junk food will be sold in or around the school.

Dr. Baljit Kaur has told all this in a press conference in Chandigarh. Also, she has requested the parents to check whether the school is registered or not before enrolling their children in these schools. Information related to this will be uploaded on the website of the Social Welfare Department. Let us tell you that the number of children between 3 to 6 years in Punjab is 40 thousand.
These guidelines have been set for the playway
A teacher will not be able to teach more than 20 children in the playway
The boundary walls of the school should be safe and there should be proper space for the child to play
Separate toilets for boys and girls
The school's class rooms should be open. There should also be a rest room arrangement
CCTV cameras have also been made mandatory in all schools
The child will not be threatened in any way. There will be no work load either
Teachers will not be able to slap the child etc.
Library arrangement inside the playway
The child's health checkup will be done every month, its record will be kept
Fire safety facilities will be checked for the safety of the child in the school
Everything will be decided on how the fees will be taken in the school
There will be no screening test of the child and interview of the parents at the time of admission
Parents Teacher Association will be formed. Also, junk food will be banned
