The Punjab government has called a special session of the Vidhan Sabha for two days. This special session is being convened between October 20 and 21. This information has been given by the Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, Kultar Singh Sandhwa. According to media reports, issues like SYL, and RDF can be discussed during this special session.
At the same time, Speaker Sandhwa says that the meeting of the old session is taking place. It does not require the Governor's approval. If a new session is convened, then the Governor's approval will have to be sought. He said that many issues of Punjab can be discussed in the special session. He said that opponents will be given full opportunity to present their views in the session.
