Cantt MLA Pargat Singh has accused the Akali leader of illegal mining taking place in the villages falling in his constituency. Regarding this, he gave a demand letter to Deputy Commissioner Special Sarangal. Along with him, MLA Bava Henry, Jalandhar Urban Chief Rajinder Beri and other Congressmen have demanded that this illegal mining should be stopped at all costs.
Pargat Singh made allegations against Akali leader and police administration
MLA Pargat Singh alleging that soil is being extracted in the areas passing near five villages. This soil is being used to complete highway projects. Whose contract has been given to the Akali leader. The police and administration are fully supporting in getting all this illegal work done.
He further said that he had already complained about this to the police and administration. But no action could be taken. The place where mining is going on. Pargat Singh said that the Punjab government is in collusion with the miners. Have just come to give the memorandum. But if action is not taken soon, a large scale protest will be held.
