Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party has faced defeat in the British general elections. The results of 560 out of 650 seats in Britain have been revealed. In which Labor Party has got 378 seats while Conservative Party has got only 93 seats. But the results of all the seats are yet to come.
Labor Party crossed the majority mark
To form a government in Britain, a majority of 326 seats is required. Which Keir Starmer's Labor Party has crossed and is leading on 378 seats. Due to which it has now been decided that Keir Starmer will be the next PM of Britain.
Rishi Sunak called and congratulated Starmer
Rishi Sunak has apologized to his Conservative Party after the defeat in the general elections. After apologizing to the party, he also called Keir Starmer and congratulated him on winning the election. Exit polls also predicted Sunak's defeat.
Sunak won both seats
Voting started in Britain on July 4 at 7 am (11:30 am Indian time) at 40 thousand polling centres. The exit poll results were revealed shortly after voting ended at 10 pm (2:30 pm Indian time). In this, the crushing defeat of Bharatvanshi Sunak's Conservative Party was predicted. Despite the defeat, Sunak managed to retain the Richmond and Northallerton seats. Labor Party's PM candidate Keir Starmer has also won Holborn and St Pancras seats in London.
