Liquor shops will remain closed
This time the Election Commission has set a target of casting more than 70 votes. For this, many steps are being taken by the Election Commission. Even before voting, liquor shops will remain closed from 6 pm on 30 May 2024 to 6 pm on 1 June 2024 and also on the day of counting on 4 June 2024. The Commission has also taken this decision.
During this period, liquor will not be sold in any hotel, restaurant, club, community center, CSD canteen, shops or any public place. Liquor stock will be strictly controlled. The ban on storing liquor in unlicensed premises will be strictly enforced.
