Jalandhar Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to Bath Castle. In which it has been asked to deposit Rs 1.58 crore. This notice has been issued by ATP Sukhdev Vashisht. Bath Castle is accused of not depositing any amount after depositing the first installment. After which now they will have to deposit Rs 1.58 crore.
Full fee for regularization not paid
It has been said in the notice that in the year 2017, Bath Castle had to deposit a fee of Rs 1.04 crore to regularize it. Bath Castle deposited Rs 15.26 lakh in the year 2018 and Rs 89 lakh remained pending. On which the Municipal Corporation charged interest at the rate of 12 percent. Which amounts to Rs 1.58 crore.
Interest charged Rs 70 lakh
From paying the outstanding amount of Rs 89 lakh till now, interest of about Rs 70 lakh has been accrued. This interest has been charged over 2370 days. Which Bath Castle will now have to fill.
