India has significantly increased its power to launch nuclear attacks from the sea. India has now retired its Dhanush missile. This nuclear missile was equipped on two warships of the Indian Navy. India is now promoting the power of nuclear submarines under the sea.
Threats of Nuclear war
These days the sounds of the third world war are being heard all over the world. Threats of nuclear war are being raised from Ukraine to Taiwan. India, surrounded by China and Pakistan equipped with atom bombs, is a nation with nuclear weapons and has the capability to fire them from land, air and water. American nuclear scientists have made a big revelation about the secret of India's nuclear weapons on the basis of pictures of yoga being performed on Indian warships. On the basis of these pictures, scientists said that India has now moved towards submarine based nuclear missiles hidden under the sea.
Not only this, India has secretly retired its old naval nuclear missile capability. With this, India has now joined the list of select countries in the world which are capable of carrying out nuclear attacks from submarines. India currently has 172 nuclear bombs.
India has increased it's nuclear power capability
India has recently increased the work on nuclear powered submarines very rapidly, due to which this strength will increase further in the coming time. Scientists of the Federation of American Scientists of America have drawn this conclusion on the basis of photographs of Indian warships in recent times. When India did not have nuclear powered ballistic submarines (SSBNs) and submarine-launched missiles,Then India had found a solution to this. To enhance its underwater nuclear deterrence, India had equipped two of its offshore patrol vessels with the capability to launch Dhanush nuclear missiles.
Know Dhanush Nuclear Missile
Dhanush is a short-range ballistic missile of India which can be fired from warships. It belongs to the Prithvi missile family. This includes Prithvi 1, Prithvi 2 and Prithvi Air Defense Interceptor. Dhanush is a single-stage, liquid-fueled missile that can carry both nuclear and conventional warheads. In 2013, this surface-to-surface missile was successfully tested in the Bay of Bengal. The Dhanush missile was deployed in the Navy's two Sukanya class warships, INS Subhadra and INS Suvarna.
In case of a war, both these Indian warships would have to go near the coasts of China or Pakistan so that they could launch a nuclear attack. But this would put them in great danger and the enemy could identify them and attack them. Apart from this, the Dhanush missile came with liquid fuel which had to be filled just before the attack.American scientists said that both of these nuclear missile-equipped warships are different from other Sukanya class warships. In April 2018, missile stabiliser was installed in them but now it has been removed and replaced and it has been converted into a landing place for helicopters.
Secret leaked from yoga picture
This warship of India had gone to Seychelles in October 2022 from where pictures of Yoga were released which became a big revelation. Now this warship does not have the capability to fire the nuclear missile bow. Indian missile experts say the retirement of the Dhanush missile was inevitable and shows that India is now close to achieving nuclear deterrence and the ability to launch nuclear weapons from submarines.Experts say that with the advent of long-range submarine launched missile, India will no longer have to go very close to the enemy coast to launch a nuclear attack.
Not only this, if there is a nuclear attack from the enemy, then nuclear powered submarines and long range missiles will have the highest chances of survival. Nuclear submarines are capable of remaining hidden in the depths of the sea for a long time and hence remain undetected by the enemy.India follows the policy of no first nuclear attack and that is why nuclear submarines will play an important role in the retaliatory attack.
