Two youths died in a tragic road accident near Goraya on the Jalandhar-Ludhiana highway. A speeding Mercedes car first hit two youths travelling on a motorcycle from behind and then dragged them away. Due to which the bike caught fire, due to which the bodies of both the youths got burnt. Those who died have not been identified yet. The Mercedes car was also badly damaged.
Due to injuries, he got burnt along with the bike
The Mercedes car was travelling at a very high speed, the collision was so strong that the two youths in the car were dragged along with the bike for about 40 meters. Due to which he got badly injured and he did not have the courage to separate from the motorcycle. Within no time his bike caught fire. After this, instead of saving both of them, the car rider ran away from the spot.
Both men died due to fire
Vicky, a youth riding a bike coming from behind, separated the youths who were burning along with the bike and immediately informed the police. After which both of them were immediately taken to the civil hospital. Where the doctors declared both of them dead. Vicky, an eyewitness to the accident, told the police that he was riding the bike at the time of the accident. The speed of the Mercedes car was very fast, due to which he could not control the car when the bike came forward.
Police took possession of burnt bike and Mercedes
Police have registered a case regarding this accident and have started searching for the owner of Mercedes vehicle number PB 25B 0088. Along with this, the car of the accused was taken into their possession. Those who died have not been identified yet. Therefore, today the police will circulate photographs to identify both the deceased.
