If you also have an account in Punjab National Bank, then be careful. Because the bank can close your account. For this, the bank has also issued a warning on its official account. However, the account will be closed only for those people who have not done any transaction in the last 2 years and whose bank balance is zero.
What is the matter
Punjab National Bank has told the customers that if there has been no transaction in their accounts for more than two years, then their account will be deactivated. This means that if you have not done any transaction in your PNB account for three years, then you will have to take some steps to activate it again.
The bank warned
Punjab National Bank has observed that many accounts have not had any transactions for the last two-three years and do not have any balance. To prevent misuse of such accounts and to ensure the security of the banking system, it has been decided to close these accounts. Warnings were issued several times in this regard earlier, but now once again customers need to pay attention.
These accounts will not be closed
PNB has clarified that certain types of accounts will not be closed without any notice.
