Former Speaker of Rajasthan Assembly and former Deputy Chief Minister Hari Shankar Bhabhra passed away. He was ill for several days. Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and many leaders have expressed grief over his demise.
Bhabhada was born in 1928 in Didwana (Nagaur). He was the Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly twice. Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani condoled the demise of Bhabhada and said that he was an efficient public representative. He played an important role in the development of the state.
Governor and Chief Minister expressed condolences
Expressing grief over the demise of Bhabhra, Governor Mishra said, Harishankar Bhabhra was a politician with deep faith in parliamentary traditions imbued with the ideas of nationalism. He was a strong advocate of accountability towards the common people, governance and purity in politics.
Chief Minister Sharma said that the demise of senior member of the Bharatiya Janata Party family, former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and former Assembly Speaker Harishankar ji Bhabhada is an irreparable loss for the state.
