Prashant Verma Cinematic Universe's first film 'Hanuman' has been released across the country on Friday, January 12. The story of the film is of Anjanadri village, popularly known as the birthplace of Hanuman. This village is imaginary in the story of the film. But, one day a boy from this village finds Rudramani. This Rudramani is made from the blood of Hanuman that came out when he was struck by Indra's thunderbolt. Prashant Verma has created a very beautiful relation of this gem with today's world and everyone who has seen this film is liking it.
Film is Grossing high
According to the initial trends till the evening of Friday i.e. the first day of release, the film 'Hanuman' had earned around Rs 7.50 crore at the box office including all languages. The total budget of the film is said to be Rs 25 crore and in this sense the film has earned more than 20 percent of its cost on the very first day of release. The first day collection of a film is considered good only when it is at least 20 percent of its cost. The film 'Hanuman' has passed this test.
Earning High inspite of Competition from other films
The collection of the film is expected to increase further on Saturday, Sunday and Makar Sankranti on January 15. Advance booking of the film had also gained momentum by Friday evening. This film has been released at the box office along with Vijay Sethupathi, Katrina Kaif's Hindi and Tamil film 'Merry Christmas', Mahesh Babu's film 'Guntur Karam' and Venkatesh's film 'Saindhava'.Two big Hollywood films have also been released this Friday. Amidst such strong competition, the film 'Hanuman' making excellent collection on the very first day of its release is considered a good sign.
According to reports, the film's spectacular computer imaging graphics and special effects have been made by some youth working in Hyderabad on a very low budget. The story of the film ends at a point from where its sequel film 'Jai Hanuman' will start. Prashant has already started work on the making of this film. However, as per his earlier announcement, the second film of Prashant Verma Cinematic Universe was to be 'Adhira'.
