A bridge on the track being built for the Bullet Train collapsed in Anand, Gujarat on Tuesday. This accident happened near Vasad. 3 workers have died in this accident. As soon as the news of the accident was received, top officials including police, fire brigade reached the spot.
Giving information, the police said that this accident happened during the work of the bullet train project near Vasad village. 2 people have been rescued in this. The debris is being removed.
20 bridges to be built in Gujarat for bullet train
Out of a total of 20 river bridges in Gujarat for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor, 12 have been completed. Giving this information, the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) said that a 120-meter-long bridge over the Kharera river in Navsari district of Gujarat has been completed recently. With this, the construction of 12 bridges has been completed.

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor is 508 km long. This project includes 352 km of Gujarat and 156 km of Maharashtra. It is planned to build a total of 12 stations like Mumbai, Thane, Virar, Boisar, Vapi, Bilimora, Ahmedabad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad and Sabarmati.
