Brits Desi Society (BDS) successfully organised the 108 Hanuman Chalisa Jaap at Shri Hanuman Mandir Salangpur Dham, Leicester on 15th February 2025. The spiritual event began at 11am and concluded with Jaap Bhog at 5pm, with a large number of devotees joining in the devotion and prayers.
The event was well attended, with 108 dedicated devotees chanting the holy Hanuman Chalisa simultaneously. Many others also joined in, creating a deeply spiritual and uplifting atmosphere inside the temple. The rhythmic recitation of Hanuman Chalisa reverberated throughout the venue, filling the place with divine energy and devotion.
Brits Desi Society played a vital role in organising and leading the Jaap. Chairman Rishu Walia, President Ishwar Singh, General Secretary Rajesh Sharma and Assistant Secretary Ila Bhan successfully completed all 108 recitations of Hanuman Chalisa, which is a significant spiritual achievement.
The Jap Bhog was performed with great reverence and prasad was distributed among the devotees who experienced a deep sense of peace and devotion. The event highlighted the power of collective prayer, uniting the community in faith and devotion to Lord Hanuman Ji.
