Reserve Bank of India has released the list of holidays in the month of March. If you have any important bank related work next month, then this news is for you. Actually, due to festivals, banks will remain closed for 14 days in March. You can see bank holidays on the official website of RBI (https://rbi.org.in/Scripts/HolidayMatrixDisplay.aspx). Banking holidays declared by the Central Bank include weekly holidays of second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sundays.
According to RBI guidelines, banks remain closed on Sundays as well as on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. RBI has announced holidays on March 1, 8, 22, 25, 26, 27 and 29. Apart from this, there will also be bank holidays on five Sundays on 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 March and second and fourth Saturdays on 9 and 23 March in the month.
