Under the guidance of Gurudev, Art of Living is conducting free Navchetna camps for sanitation workers in 25 sectors of Mahakumbh where they are being taught techniques to meditate, reduce stress, balance their emotions and achieve deep relaxation in a short period of time. Satsang, Rudra Puja and many Vedic Pujas are being organised daily at the Art of Living Camp located at Sector 8, Bajrangdas Marg, Mahakumbhnagar.
Gurudev arrived at Mahakumbh last week, where he first took a Ganga bath at Nagvasuki Ghat along with his followers from across the world who had come to Prayagraj. After this, he visited Satua Baba's Ashram and then met Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji. On the day of Vasant Panchami, he took a bath at the Triveni Sangam and met saints of the Digambar Akhara.
On February 4, Gurudev conducted a guided meditation for thousands of sadhaks in the camp, which was joined live by millions of devotees from 180 countries. The meditation session was webcast on Gurudev's YouTube channel and Art of Living's free meditation app Sattva. Gurudev said, "Mahakumbh is a time when we move from the momentary to the eternal, from individual consciousness to cosmic consciousness. It is a time to contemplate our truth not just intellectually, but also experientially. Millions of people gather here to celebrate the spiritual confluence of diversity in unity."
Yesterday, Gurudev visited Ekatma Dham in Prayag, where he visited a museum on the life of Adi Shankaracharya. Gurudev also met prominent saints, including Swami Sharanananda Ji of Karshni Ashram, Gita Manishi Swami Gyanananda Maharaj, Sadhvi Ritambhara Ji and Shri Maluk Peethadheeswar Swami Rajendra Das Ji. He also interacted with several government officials, members of the Chartered Accountants, High Court Judges and disciples of Ashutosh Maharaj.
