Along with this, the government has declared a holiday on March 8. Actually, Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 and this day is a reserved holiday in the state. According to the government notification, government employees can take 2 reserved holidays in a year. Please note that March 8 is not a gazetted holiday in the state but a reserved holiday. Due to this, schools, colleges and other institutions will remain open like other days.
